What led to the war? WTF happened?

Germany lost the WW 1 war. The peace terms were grueling
and a thought arose that Germany was too small.
They were looking for a leader that promised a way
back to prosperity and international respect and the
regaining of the territory Germany had once owned.
Hitler became that man.
First, Hitler invaded Czechoslovakia and no one blinked.
He then invaded Poland. Poland and Great Britain were allies,
so Britain demanded that Germany remove their troops from Poland.
They did not, and Britain declared war on Germany.
WW II began. Sep 1, 1939 – Sep 2, 1945.
Not one historic event can be said to have
been the origin of World War II. America's
isolation from war ended on December 7, 1941,
when Japan staged a surprise attack on American military
installations in the Pacific. The most devastating
strike came at Pearl Harbor, the Hawaiian naval base
where much of the US Pacific Fleet was moored.
On December 8, President Roosevelt asked Congress
to declare war against Japan. Three days later,
Germany and Italy, allied with Japan, declared war
on the United States. America was now drawn into a global war.

The Allies Britain, France, Australia, Canada,
New Zealand, India, the Soviet Union, China and
the USA vs. the Axis Powers, including Germany, Italy and Japan.

The battles involving the USA were numerous.

What about the Facist, Nazi, Communist?

World War 2 ended with the unconditional surrender
of the Axis powers. On 8 May 1945, the Allies accepted Germany's surrender, about a week after Adolf Hitler had committed suicide.
